News Factors Impacting the Dynamics of Shares in Russian Oil and Gas Companies

Considering situation on the Russian oil and gas market when oil prices are systematically dropping and political situation is escalating, it cannot but to draw attention to the stock prices of oil companies. In this connection, the following question arises - what exactly causes a dramatic change in the dynamics of these shares. In this area have been conducted many studies in which by means of various approaches the importance of information events on the movement of quotations of securities was estimated. However, in the majority of works the following problem was found. The matter is that analyzing the importance only of one factor, for example, the importance of analytical reports on the quotation, authors can miss influence of other important factors occurring during the same period of time, for example, often with the release of analytical reports the results of financial statements are published. For minimization of this problem in this research it has been decided to analyze news factors not separately, but in total.
