Econometric Modelling of Cash Balances in the Outlets of Large Retail Company

Few studies have been devoted to the analysis of volumes of cash forecasting methods in retail outlets companies. This study aims to predict the daily amount of cash at outlets, by studying the structure of sales outlets and dividing them into homogeneous groups. Time series analysis showed that the amount of daily earnings in all retail outlets has weekly and annual seasonality and has a long memory. Additionally, we identified and modeled patterns in the frequency displays sharp one-off increases the volume of sales in retail outlets.
