The effect of market conditions on the choice of organizational form (U-form and M_form) by firms on a commodity market was studied in this thesis. Simulations based on evolutionary model were used for the analysis. It was shown that the increase of the amount of firms on the market and the addition of profit tax decreases the probability to choose the most preferred organizational form. Also, the increase of the demand growth speed increases the probability of choosing U-form by a firm.
