Higher Educational Institutions in the "Knowledge Triangle"

Following study tests a hypothesis that the 5-100 Russian academic excellence project has a positive influence on participating universities transformation and on the way this universities establish linkages between education, research and innovation. Findings of this research are received with qualitative and quantitative research methods such as academic literature analysis, overview of Russian national higher education landscape, and the case study method. According to the combination of these methods it is possible to conclude that 5-100 Project strengthened collaboration between participating universities and their stakeholders and launched significant strategic changes within these universities.
