The aim of this work is to analyze the factors that determine the structure of the modern international professional sports as an important social institution. In this paper we are interested in how modern political discourse affects the sphere of international sport, in particular we consider the impact of gender, national politics, class issue, etc. A variety of sports practices that exist in modern society is extremely extensive, from casual leisure activities to professional sports careers. The focus of this study turns to professional sport, to competitions with an international status. However, we can't talk about the array of all currently existing sports and Championships, as their number is too large and was too difficult to count, therefore, as the subject of the study, we will refer to the most significant event of modern sport – the Olympic games.
