Assessment of the Bank's Financial Stability

Any bank must guarantee the reliability and stability to its clients during the crisis in the country and in the world banking system. Nowadays all commercial banks are working in the challenging conditions because of crises and unpredictable economic and political processes in the world. Therefore, any bank should assess its financial condition carefully. In order to provide qualitative evaluation of the bank it is necessary to apply the most convenient and accurate methodology for early identification of bank problems. This paper is focused on improvement of the internal system of evaluation of the bank's financial stability (case of JSC Alfa-Bank), and on study of the influence of various factors on the bank's net income. The obtained results of research are versatile: it is possible to create different recommendations for any bank. The specifics of recommendations depend on the bank's opportunities and problems. Thus, careful application of research results will improve the bank's attractiveness, as well as will increase the bank's net income by the most appropriate way.
