Drivers of Companies’ Market Value in Service Industry

Determination of a company’s value creating factors is one of the most important issues in modern economy. This paper focuses on Intellectual capital resources as key drivers of a company’s value. A lot of researches were conducted in order to evaluate intellectual capital of a company. Nevertheless, most of them lack of theoretical background and have limited possibilities for competitive analysis. The purpose of this paper is to develop a set of tool for intellectual capital evaluation, according to specifics of tertiary sector. This will help companies to obtain continuous competitive advantages on one hand, and provide managers with powerful tools for cost-effectiveness on the other. This paper brings both theoretical and empirical contribution in intellectual capital identification and evaluation.
