As almost every field of activity could be characterized by a number of specific risks, the use of the standard methods of the analysis and the risk assessment for the projects realized in these spheres can produce inexact results, lead to the unsuccessful choice of the project and, respectively, loss of money. Especially it concerns the innovative projects realized in health sector. Such projects have certain features and that contributes to the need for improvement of analysis methods and the risk assessment of these projects in order to receive more exact determination of risk level and adoption of competent investment and administrative decisions. But despite the large number of the works devoted to this subject, specifics and problems of risk analysis of the innovative projects realized in health sector were not examined thoroughly, and that defines the relevance of the actual research. The purpose of the master thesis is the improvement of methodology of risk analysis while taking into consideration the specifics of innovative projects in the health care field. The author of the research offers the list of the main risks that may threat the innovative projects in this area, reveals uncertainties generating these risks, their interrelations, the reasons and the possible impact on the results of the project. In addition to this, the most suitable methods of risk analysis of such innovative projects have been defined. The offered scientific novelty has been realized when carrying out risk analysis of the “SkrinKardio” innovative project, the purpose of which is production and sales of devices (gadgets) that control the functional condition of the whole organism and the heart. These gadgets are designed to be used in medical institutions, in everyday life and in the workplace. The results of the analysis formed the basis for the proposals concerning the risk management of the project and then the assessment of their efficiency was carried out.
