Applying Lean Principles to Improve Global Performance and Evaluate Results in Aerospace Industry

Lean Six Sigma approach is the main topic of this master thesis. The main objective of the approach is eliminating waste and improve efficiency of the process. Special tool DMAIC is used to improve the process. Implementation of Lean Six Sigma was described on a case of Bombardier Airplane assenbly. Process cycle efficiency (PCE) was calculated before and after the implementation and the improvement was proved.
