The concept of "innovation system" appeared in the late 80s in the analysis national and regional level of the economy. The necessity of the national innovation system (NIS) development in Russia began in the early 1990s when the new market realities has come. There was a restructuring of the innovation management. Until recently, development in the field of corporate innovation systems were almost absent in contrast to the national and regional innovation systems. A corporate innovation system is the set of actors, activities, resources and institutions and the causal interrelations that are in some sense important for the innovative performance of a corporation. In the current difficult economic climate for Russia, the development of innovative activity in industrial enterprises is necessary. Today more than ever, there is a necessity to develop elements and instruments of corporate innovation system of each enterprise.
