Socio-economic Factors of Ecologically Responsible Consumption Development in Russia

Environmentally conscious consumption is becoming more and more wide-spread in Russia, as it has become abroad. Nevertheless, the phenomenon is poorly examined within Russian realities. The current research was aimed to define socio-economic factors of «green» consuming behavior and behavioral intentions. Using logit-regression tool, it was revealed that the most significant effect on both dependent variables had been caused by individual’s willing to contribute to solving environmental problems in Russia.
