The study is devoted to the process of Negotiations over the Iranian Nuclear Program. Particular attention was paid to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). This agreement was concluded in July 2015. The essence of the agreement was that sanctions, which have been imposed on Iran, were dropped in exchange for limiting nuclear program. The aim of the study was to identify the political and economic implications of JCPOA between Iran and P5+1 (permanent members of the UN Security Council and Germany) and determine the direction of further interaction in the Middle East. Genesis of the Iranian nuclear program and the negotiation process was considered using event analysis. Political and legal analysis allowed determining the sanctions mechanisms that were applied against Iran. As a result, it was revealed that JCPOA was accepted because most of these countries was more profitable to compromise, but not further confrontation. The agreement could be seen as a step on the path to stabilizing the Middle East. In addition, after making a deal on the nuclear program, it has become possible to conduct a dialogue with Iran on other important regional issues, such as the conflict in Syria and joint counteraction to ISIL.
