Strategies Employed by Business Representatives in Regional Legislatures: Case of the Perm Region

This research is aimed at the study of behavior strategies of business representatives which participate in regional legislature. The subject matter of this research is the investigation of the strategies associated with the formal structure of the legislature and specific nature of the constituent organizations, such as committees, working parties and plenary sessions. Nevertheless, we must admit that the fact of preferential advantage and networking which business acquires when entering the legislature are very significant points by all means. This research gives the solution to the problem of defining the strategies which business representatives should follow to implement their perspectives using the formal structure of the regional parliaments. This research describes the strategies proposed by lawmakers which are representatives from the business groups using the rational choice institutionalism and methodological individualism. These strategies give an idea of profit markup, cost savings for businesses and excluding situations for criminal procedures. Alongside with the above, there is represented the networking analysis of the Perm Legislative Assembly members, which provides the inside key points for interaction in order to control all business significant structures.
