Developing New Publishing Models on the Basis of Digital and Multimedia Technologies

This work is devoted to the study of the publishing business models, which are formed on the basis of digital and multimedia technologies, mainly, a digital publishing, to which we refer electronic bookstores and libraries, and digital publishing publisher of interactive books. The aim of this study is to identify new models and digital book publishing. Achieving this goal involves the following major tasks: cataloging publishing business models, which are used in the book industry and the identification of the main publishing business models in the digital book publishing. The result was analyzed the work of key representatives of the representatives of the digital book publishing in Russia: online library Bokmate and MyBook, electronic bookstore LitRes, support for the production of electronic books Ridero, digital publishing UnderRage interactive books, digital publishing St.Arrler Rublishing, as well as three representatives of the mixed Book publishing - "Exmo", "Mann, Ivanov and Ferber" and Alrina Rublisher. In the course of the study revealed the following features of the business simulation in digital publishing. First, the trend of digital publishing is the lack of a rigid structure, and familiar, which is peculiar to the publishers in their conventional sense, ie, those that produce a printed book production. Secondly, the management of the digital publishing closer to project management. Third, the state companies that exist in the field of digital publishing, is relatively small. Fourth, all the studied companies have a similar strategy for further development, the essence of which consists in entering foreign markets in the near future.
