Youth Parliament in Russia as a Form of Participation in Political Process

Youth participation in the political process in Russia was and remains one of the key topics on the agenda. One of the ways of youth participation in the political process is the Youth Parliament. In the study "Youth Parliament in Russia as a form of political participation" peculiarities of functioning of regional youth parliaments on the basis of normative-legal acts regulating their activity. Also in this paper, on the example of Moscow Youth Parliament revealed that in fact the youth Parliament is not a form of political participation of young people in the political process. The study was conducted a sociological poll which purpose was to find out the main interests of young people and the young people's attitudes to the activities of the Youth Parliament.
