The objection of this study is to examine how Russian print media participate in the formation of the Russian and US Presidents’ political images. Content-analysis of empirical database is used to reveal specific features of the reputation management in different sources (papers). The techniques employed could advance understanding of the significance of the media in political image formation and political reputation maintenance. The results anticipated are the common scheme of the mechanisms of image formation utilized by the print media. The final revealed features of the different sources of media are supposed to demonstrate the correlation between the ideological orientation of the media and the way it illuminates information about political leaders’ activities during the conflict in Ukraine.
