Investment Attractiveness of Russian Oil Companies in Terms of Transnational Corporation

The final qualifying work is devoted to assessing of the investment attractiveness of the oil companies of the Russian Federation in terms of transnational corporations. The first chapter is dedicated to the analysis of the definitions of "investment attractiveness", "multinational corporations" and reviewed the existing methods of evaluation of investment attractiveness from the theoretical point of view. At the second chapter, there are described and evaluated the activities of transnational corporations in the Russian oil industry. In addition, we analyzed the specifics of investment attractiveness in the oil industry for the further understanding of the processes. The third chapter provides information about the econometric analysis: used data and methods, and data analysis process itself. The main purpose of the research paper is the implementation of acts of econometric study that will identify the indicators that affect a greater extent on the investment attractiveness of Russian oil transnational corporations. This work meets the following criteria: 1. uniqueness: the model takes into account the specifics of the oil business; 2. The multi-aspect analysis: analysis is based on an evaluation of internal and external factors for the company; 3. The practical significance: the use of the model will allow the investor to explore the company from the standpoint of the rationality of investments in it. The study showed that the investment attractiveness of oil companies in the first place depends on sectoral indicators, and then only from financial. It also includes recommendations, which were developed for the oil companies in order to increase investment attractiveness.
