This research is devoted to find out the interrelation of body value and personality psychological wellbeing of people engaged in sports fitness. In conditions of the growing public attention to the person’s appearance the lack of empirical data on interrelation of these phenomena is observable. In the research there is an analysis of domestic and foreign investigations of the person's psychological wellbeing, body, body image and appearance. On the basis of the carried-out analysis we reasoned that the problem of body value in its affiliation with psychological wellbeing is recognized as an topical by experts, however it rarely becomes a subject of scientific research. In research the following methods were used: K. Ryff's «Scale of Psychological Well-Being», T. Cash’s «The Multidimensional Body-Self Relations Questionnaire» (MBSRQ) and «The Appearance Schemas Inventory (ASI)» . As a result of research we found the existence of interrelation of the person's psychological wellbeing with body value. Also there were founded significant differences between the groups of fitness- athletes and people who are not engaged in fitness on separate scales of questionnaires. As a consequence of research there were elaborated recommendations for psychologists working with fitness- athletes.
