Production Management Automation of Company X via ERP-system

This final qualification work deals with the problem of production process management automation and its control with the help of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) information system. The aim of this work is to study capabilities of the production management automation through the implementation of appropriate ERP modules - system. In the first chapter the production processes are researched in the company X, also the business-process of the manufacturing is described, both verbally and in the formalized form through a graphical modeling tool. In the second chapter the functional requirements are developed to the ERP - system for production management automation. In the third chapter the selection of the ERP - system is substantiated, the way of realization of production management in SAP ERP is chosen and the solution according to control of this process is considered. In the result of the study a "bottleneck" of the production business-process have found. It is a slow flow of documents. This problem is removable by automating some manufacturing sub-processes. As a result, 11 functional requirements has been developed, which are fully realized in SAP ERP. In this way, the implementation of SAP ERP will speed up the flow of documents and optimize the production business - process of the company X in general.
