Key Features of Young Specialists’ Recruitment in the Public Sector

In terms of the rapid development of the information society, continuous globalization and internationalization processes there is a need for effective recruiting professional candidates who are able to quickly adapt to changing environmental conditions.

Nowadays the solution to the problem of the personnel shortage in the public sector is very relevant. However, with the availability of vacancies the young specialists are not interested in the career in the public sector.

This paper identifies specific features of the recruitment procedure in the public sector and the specificity of the young candidates search and selection. By the study of scientific works of both Russian and foreign researchers, and conducting surveys among young specialists passed a selection process in public sector organizations, the hypothesis that there is a need for the creation of a new system of selection of young professionals in the public sector is tested.
