The Analysis of Factoring Financing Market Dynamics in Russia

The research work is devoted to the evaluation of factoring market volume in Russia. Nowadays factoring is the most effective financial tool of organising the financial interaction between suppliers and buyers of goods or services and supporting the timeliness and sufficiency of company’s financing. Considering Russia, the available statistics show the significant fluctuations of the factoring services market over the past decade. Therefore, the author analyzed the possible factors affecting the market. The aim of the research – the evaluation of the Russian factoring market dynamics depending on the state of the business environment. The first chapter describes the theoretical aspects of the factoring operations; the rationale for factoring efficiency in comparison with bank loans. The second chapter examines the forming of factoring relations in Europe and Russia; analyzes the Russian factoring market. In the third part, the analyses of panel data regression is held in order to test different hypotheses. The author comes to the conclusion about a positive impact of retail trade and Russian oil prices on the factoring market. In addition, there is a market decrease in terms of the crisis and anti-Russian sanctions. The project consists of an explanatory note on 45 pages, including 8 figures, 7 tables, the list of 30 references and 2appendices.
