Due to the contradictory data from the past studies, the main problem to be examined is to find mutual influence of stress factors and personal creativity. It is unknown whether high level of creativity or the organism mobilization causes the effective coping. The scientific value of the paper is overcoming the contradictory data from earlier researchers. In a number of works there is a thesis that creative people are more susceptible to stress factors, which adversely affect the efficiency of their work and life in general. However, other studies show that the increase in the ability to create, on the contrary, makes it easier to adapt to environmental changes. The practical significance of the work is linked to the high intensity and the frequency of stressful and uncertain situations. This leads to a health problems and well-being issues of the individual and, in future, impact on performance. Thus, the aim of this paper is to study the effect of the personal creativity level as the divergent thinking on handling stress in a situation of uncertainty. We hypothesize based on theoretical analysis of literature that creativity increases the effectiveness of stress coping in the situation assessment. Subjects were divided into 12 groups, including two control groups, and eight different types of experimental with affective or stress impact. As an experimental basis were 300 people (158 men and 142 women), employees of large organizations involved in the fields of management, IT, legal, sales and trading, whose age ranged from 23 to 60 years.
