Ensemble – set of simular, not necessarily identical objects, whose spatio-temporal organisation does not result in a stable grouping (Gestalt) This study is based on Ariely experiments about ensemble representation. This experiments have shown that mean sizes are represented with higher accuracy than individual sizes In original experiments there are difficulties with clarification which statistical properties are used by our perception to represent ensembles. In our study we are trying to clarify what exactly stands before ensemble representation
