The master thesis is devoted to the analysis of the factors affecting the efficiency of a project aimed at the production launch. The projects aimed at the pellets production launch are believed to be very promising and meet high standards of the investment efficiency. However, as practice shows, the majority of such projects carried out in Russia end in a failure. Mostly the reason for it lays in a fact that businessmen do not take into account the importance of some factors of industrial siting. That is why it is necessary to conduct a research to solve a problem of lack of methodological approaches which could help to assess the impact of the production location factors on the efficiency of a project aimed at pellets production launch and, as a result, on the success of the project on the whole. The main research task was achieved: the author studied the key factors of industrial siting which have the highest impact on the efficiency and final results of a project aimed at the pellets production launch. A real project of the pellets production launch was also developed, given the optimal factors of its location. The pursuit of this task involved solving some other objectives: • to analyze scientific works on the issue; • to determine the approaches to assessment of the efficiency and success of the production lunch; • to accumulate the data about the factors affecting the site finding for pellets production launch; • to analyze the data and develop a mathematical model of the production; • to elicit the key factors affecting the production efficiency; • to find an appropriate site according to these factors; • to develop a project of the pellets production; • to study opportunities for the financial provision of the project; • to prove the efficiency of the developed project.
