This master’s thesis is dedicated to a study of metrological support services for navigational measuring instruments. Our research provides analysis of the block diagram and metrological characteristics of measuring instruments, which are parts of the special-purpose complex CPA NAP. The study examines the advantages and disadvantages of the calibration capabilities and metrological characteristics of the standards complex CPA NAP and the recommendations for modernization were given. The paper also has a review of the existing navigation user equipment, which is used in the field of national defense and security. The standard complex CPA NAP has been modernized. In accordance with the order №36 of January, 22, 2014 of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulation and Metrology we’ve also developed a set of documents which will allow to certify the modernized complex CPA NAP as a secondary standard unit of the time and frequency.
