Assessment of Bank Investments Reliability Using ELECTRE Metods in Perspective of Three Years

This paper is devoted to studying ELECTRE methods usage peculiarities. Research subject of current paper is a sample of Russian banks. Research topic is analytical justification of a decision-making support concerning bank investment reliability. Research goal is to elicit the ELECTRE methods usage peculiarities and to consult on their application towards bank reliability evaluation.

Tasks of the research are as follows:

1) to form a set of criteria for bank reliability outranking;

2) to gather information for defining criteria fitting for Russian banks evaluation;

3) to define criteria estimates in medium-term perspective;

4) to implement bank reliability outranking procedure and to compare results acquired via different methods.

The theoretical novelty of this research lies in a change of problem situation modelling in ELECTRE EX method. The designed toolkit anticipates the possibility of implementing probabilities corresponding to outcoming events.

Upon acquiring research results recommendations towards bank reliability have been made.
