Dedicated Data Warehouse Development and Integration with Information Systems of a Financial Institution for Corporate Reports Building

The current research contains the theoretical basis and practical recommendations for a development of corporate reports building tool in the financial institutions. The research relevance caused by the lack of automation of several reporting forms formation. Data for these reports are uploaded from the production server of the main information system in the bank. The uploading occurs with a chain of approvals by heads of individual departments. Due to continuous growth of data volume, continuous increasing number of requests for data uploading, also due to changes in reports requirements, which lead to an increase the complexity of the process, duration of some reports formation also increased. An automation of these activities allow to avoid errors due to the human factor, as well as to reallocate saved staff time for other tasks. In the "Alfa-Bank" a reporting form "Separate indicators describing the activity of the financial institution" is included in the number of such non-automated reports. The result of the research is a solution that automates the process of the financial institution reports building. This solution consists of the developed and integrated data warehouse, as well as a tool for reports formation. Development was realized for a report "Separate indicators describing the activity of the financial institution". Described approach can be applied to other reporting forms. Developed solution and exported report file meets all requirements of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and all requirements of "Alfa-Bank".
