Legal Council and Its Place in The Legislative Process of Provisional Government

This paper considers the history of Legal Council and its place in the legislative process of Provisional Government. Legal Council was responsible for the legal expertise of bills and legal consulting on other matters, if it was needed by the Provisional Government. That is why the analysis of its place in the system of committees and governmental bodies in the 1917 is highly important for the understanding of what role the legal profession can play in revolutionary historical contexts.
