Social Identity Management Strategies Questionnaire: Validation on Russian Sample

After an analyses of studies in the field of H. Tajfel`s Social Identity Theory we revealed inconsistency in the empirical results. We proposed that the reason for this inconsistent data is that researcher do not consider the contesxt of intergroup relations enough. Therefor we referred to the social identity management strategies as they seem to be more sensitive to the context. The aim of our study is to adapt the social identity management strategies questionnaire to the russian context as there is no such measure in Russia. After translation, series of corrections and analyses of psychometrich characteristics the questionnaire was finally adapted.
