The Evolution of Key Components of an Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

In this paper, a study on the evolution of the key components of entrepreneurial ecosystem. The work identified the role of entrepreneurial ecosystem for the development of entrepreneurship. 9 considered approaches to the definition of entrepreneurial ecosystem models. The hybrid model based on the 9 approaches to fully reveal the structure of the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the Nizhny Novgorod region. Based on the hybrid model of entrepreneurial ecosystem key components have been identified - entrepreneurs, small and large businesses and government policies. The paper focuses on the components of the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the time of the Russian Empire and the USSR. If in the Nizhny Novgorod Region there are 7 main components now, then at the time of the Russian Empire 4 components while in the USSR only one which promoted suppression of business activity, and further and all enterprise ecosystem in general are allocated.
