Information Technology in Human Resources Management at the Example of Company "Axes Pro"

Human resource management is one of the most important processes in the company. Companies implement special information system to improve this process. The aim of study is improvement of the efficiency of the company through the use of an information system for the management of its staff. To achieve this goal it is necessary to solve the following tasks: • determine the necessity of use of information technologies in human resources management; • build a model of the functioning of the subject area; • make a comparative analysis of the existing information systems for the automation of HR processes; • justify the choice of the information system , which is the most suitable for the automation of HR processes of the company; • evaluate the efficiency of the company before and after the implementation of the selected information system. The following methods and tools for solvation of tasks in the work: IDEF0 methodology was used for constructing a functional model of HR management, BPMN and EPC notations were used for reflection of the career processes and an example of the automated company's processes are shown with the help of ETWeb information system. The main part of this work consists of three chapters. In the first chapter there is a study of subject area and the identification of problems. In the second chapter, the comparative analysis of the information systems for the automation of HR management and selection of the most suitable system which dedicate to the company's requirements are realized. The last chapter describes using automated system processes and evaluates the effectiveness of the company before and after the implementation of the selected system. As a result, the implementation of information system for HR management can reduce costs of the staff and increase the involvement of staff in the processes of the company significantly.
