Detection of Unauthorized and Risky Transactions in Online Stores

Unauthorized and risky transactions in online stores and ways to deal with them are examined in the qualification work. The volume of the qualification work is 43 pages, it contains 7 pictures, 3 tables, 14 literature sources. The object of research is fraudulent transactions. The subject of research is antifraud and ways of dealing with fraudulent transactions. The aim of research is to study fraud as a type of fraudulent activity in the field of e-commerce, as well as specific ways of dealing with it. The relevance of the research topic stems from the fact, that under current conditions with the increasing scale of e-commerce the number of suspicious transactions is increasing too, which entails in financial and moral damage to organizations and society as a whole. In the introduction the relevance of the chosen topic is substantiated, the aim and the objectives of the study are stated, the object and the subject of the study are indicated. The first chapter is devoted to investigation of fraud and suspicious transactions in e-commerce. Fraud and its main spheres are reviewed here. The second chapter details the fraud with bank cards and online auctions. The third chapter analyzes the work of antifraud - a means of combating fraudulent transactions. The fourth chapter describes the main means of anonymization and ways to deal with anonymous users to protect websites from fraudulent transactions. Also, the author's universal method of dealing with anonymization tools is proposed here. The conclusion contains the main findings of the work, proposals and recommendations aimed at fighting unauthorized and risky transactions in online stores. The results may be useful for combating fraud in the field of e-commerce.
