Business Process Management Applications of Reputation Models

Reputation is the general opinion that people have about someone or something, based on past behavior or character. Nowadays it plays a significant role in business efficiency, especially in online business. There is a big vary of mathematical models describing reputation but the exact strategies for implementing them to business, and to business process management in particular, still don’t exist. In the study proposed this gap is challenged; its purpose is stated as follows: to define a space for existing reputation models in the business-process management of companies and to clarify the borders of applicability for these models. Several new inputs are provided: a classification for reputation models which splits them into groups by purpose and match with reference business processes through these purposes; boarders of applicability for existing reputation models.
