The paper is devoted to the ideas and views of Russian conservatives on the subject of constitutional reform in the Russian Empire in 1905-1906. The author has conducted an analysis of the works of the most prominent representatives of Russian conservative thought of the period as well as of their attitude towards reform in Russia. The paper also includes an analysis and juxtaposition of the monarchic statehood theory against constitutional reforms in Russia.
