Development of Guidelines for Planning Changes of Corporate Template Solutions 1C for Large Oil Holding

In connection with changes of organizations both external and internal conditions, the modification (change) of existing software is required. It cannot be denied that the changes in the existing business functions and business processes can both improve and break the current activity of the company. In this regard, it is necessary to evaluate possible business benefits when planning changes: the level of operational risks, as well as the impact of changes on business continuity. The master's thesis deals with a problem related to the difficulty in determining the requests for change of corporate template solutions 1C having the least impact on business continuity, low operational risks and significant business benefits. In the first chapter, methods of estimation operational risks, the impact on business continuity are analyzed and the methodology for business benefit assessment is defined. In the second chapter, the approach for planning changes proposed by best practices of ITIL for change management, as well as the approach used in a large oil company are analyzed. In the third chapter, the modification of the planning process change is made, a description of the practical results of testing guidelines in a large oil company are presented. Methodology for risk assessment in statistical incorrect environment is used to determine the level of operational risk, method of analysis of business impact is used to define criteria for assessing the impact on business continuity, methodology of justification IT investments is used in the construction of the business drivers tree. The result of this work are procedures for criteria assessment, for the ranking requests for change, as well as the procedure for rescheduling schedule of changes of corporate template solutions 1C in a large oil holding.
