Bioinformatics and biotechnology are undoubtedly rising stars on the field of the startups that are powered by venture investments. To mention a few: 23andMe and SequenceBio have combined evaluation of over $1 billion. Such technological advancements could not be possible without data management systems that are used to store data for the consequent analysis. One of the key requirements for mentioned databases is the non-redundancy of the information that is included in the analysis to avoid bias in the deduced frequency parameters. This paper focuses on providing insight on the technical aspects of creating such NR database as well as describing framework to determine projects potential success. The main objectives can be stated as follows: - Analyzing market of biotech startups. This includes market description, overview of successful startups and market forecast. - Describing technical aspects of creating a startup project based on NR databases - Describing criteria that make the framework for predicting success As a result, NR database was demonstrated with algorithm to clusterize biological structures. Moreover, the framework for determine success of this particular project was established.
