The Analysis of Efficiency of Cloud Computing in Business Processes

A large number of companies are constantly searching for opportunities to improve their business processes. They are looking for ways to speed up, reduce the cost or to make their business processes more productive, which should increase the company's profits. Today, companies are increasingly adopting cloud technology to modify their business processes. Leading companies in the IT market see great potential of this area and invest significant financial and intellectual resources in its development. The main expectations are related to cloud computing and the provision of platforms and applications. The purpose of this work is to identify the main advantages and disadvantages, and to analyze the effectiveness of cloud computing in terms of business processes. The objectives of the study are: Provide a general description of cloud technologies and identify their main components. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of cloud computing technologies in business processes. Analyze the effectiveness of the use of such solutions implementations. To achieve these objectives such research methods as analysis and modeling have been used. In the first part of this paper the main components of cloud services are provided. Then, to help us estimate the efficiency of cloud technologies in a company's business processes a brief overview of the benefits, and economic aspects of the risks involved are provided. After that the basic principles and criteria for selecting an optimal architecture of cloud solution, depending on the specific objectives of the organization are described. Lastly, there is an analysis of a business case, which allows us to witness the effectiveness of cloud computing solution application in a real example.
