The paper discusses the features of policy support for small businesses under the government procurement. During the period of economic crisis it is highly relevant achievement to ensure the most efficient procurement from small business. In this connection the objectives of this research are to determine the conditions of the most successful purchases from small business, to find effective ways to implement mechanisms of small business support in public procurement on the base of completed purchases and the development of recommendations for improving small entrepreneurship support systems in the field of public procurement.
