Implementation of Navicon SalesOut in Pharmacy Company

This work is dedicated to improvement of secondary sales report processing via automation, in particular – automation of this process in the XXX pharmaceutical company using the Navicon SalesOut solution. The work consists of three chapters. Chapter 1 is dedicated to the analysis of IS (information system) implementation process. Main models of IS LC (life cycle) are considered along with most widely adopted IS LC standards. Moreover, operations, which are to be performed further during the implementation process, are listed. In chapter 2 the development of functional requirements for the report processing automation using the Navicon SalesOut is described. Chapter 3 is dedicated to the process automation, in this part configuration and testing of the system is described. The following tasks are carried out during the work. The analysis of IS implementation process is carried out, set of IS LC operations is described according to the ISO/IEC 15288 and MSF. The analysis of secondary sales report processing in the company XXX is performed, which allowed to design AS-IS secondary sales report processing model and reveal its flaws. To improve report processing the automated process using Navicon SalesOut solution was designed. Based on this model the IS functional requirements in accordance with the GOST-34 (Russian standard) were developed in the form of the table of operations. Configuration and testing of system is carried out, documentation describing its structure is developed. In conclusion, results of the Navicon SalesOut system implementation in XXX Company are analysed. Report processing in the XXX company is described according to EPC methodology using the standard package in the Microsoft Visio product. The automation in the XXX Company resulted in reduction of report processing time and increase in the obtained data quality.
