Design of University Smart Environment

This paper is dedicated to design of university smart environment. The goals of the research are collecting, compiling, analyzing and actualising the information providing the theoretical basis for designing university smart environment as well as implementation of the design project. Following goals have been set and achieved during the research: analysis of the smart environment market and the experience of its implementation, definition of the main requirements to the smart environment, definition of the smart environments functional technical and technological requirements as well as designing both virtual and physical smart environment infrastructures. During the research, different technological solutions have been analysed and the ones that have met the requirements have been chosen for further design and development of the university smart environment. On the basis of the analysis the architecture of the environment has been designed and both virtual and physical infrastructure projects have been developed, as well as a list of recommendations on possible ways of further development and monetization of smart-designed environment has been developed.
