Annotation to the graduation paper on the topic “Analysis and Automation of Software Testing Process“ Written by a student of Business and Management Faculty of National Research University Higher School of Economics Cherkasova Elizaveta Romanovna The aim of this research is an analysis of automated testing usage efficiency. The following objectives were defined to achieve this aim: • Identification of the theoretical foundations of testing, classification and description of its types. • Analysis and description of the testing process, identification of properly organized testing process criteria. • Specification of testing process efficiency criteria. • Estimation of economic feasibility of automated testing introduction. • Implantation of automated testing. The following methods were applied: • Analysis • Classification • Interview • Experiment The graduation paper, which is written on fifty-two pages, consists of introduction, three chapters, conclusion, references, including sixteen sources, and application. This paper analyses the efficiency of automated testing implementation in RT Labs Company. At first the theoretical results of automated testing implementation feasibility were attained. Then two large tests were automated in order to confirm or refute the results received before. As a result of these two tests automation, confirmation of automated testing implementation feasibility for regression testing was obtained. This work is relevant for companies aimed at the testing development, automation of the testing process and improving the quality of their products since this paper describes all necessary theoretical foundations and analyses the testing process efficiency criteria. Moreover, it provides a specific example of automated testing implementation efficiency evaluation for a certain company.
