Elaboration of Recommendations for Managerial Competencies Development as a Part of the Project Management Improvement in Vitaland Company

This project presents investigation of the influence of competence development level at the field of project management maturity in the organization. The project consists of 99 pages which including texts, diagrams, pictures and tables. This project discusses the concept of the project, the project activities and the maturity of project management. The theoretical part of the project discussed in details the project management maturity model (PMMM) that was elaborated by Harold Kerzner. Also theoretical chapter covers aspects of the model of competence, designated their relevance and benefits. Methodological chapter is composed of several parts - the first part was marked with the general methods of this study, which were necessary for its creation. In the second part is offered an additional level 0PMMM as a qualitative expansion of project management maturity model PMMM. In the third part of the methodological chapter on the basis of project management maturity model was developed a competency model. The competency model is introduced as radar chart with six axes of coordinates, where each reflects the development level of the proposed competencies. This model also includes the assessment system in the form of a scale from 1 to 10 points. In the fourth part the target competence profiles was elaborated. These profiles present the minimum development level of competencies that reflect requirements for the competence at each level of maturity. In the last part of the methodology tools for collecting of information were developed. These tools were subsequently used for current project. Practical chapter of this project presents investigation of project management maturity and competencies development in the «Vitaland» company. The current state of maturity of the project management in the company was diagnosed, than it was defined target level of maturity in the organization and after it was elaborated recommendations for development of competencies.
