Development of Assortment Policy for the Menswear Boutique

This graduation thesis is devoted to analysis of the range of selected methods and development of recommendations on improving the assortment policy of the company ltd "Fidelity" engaged in the retail business of premium men's clothing in the city of Moscow. Through the work set and solved the following tasks: reviewed the theoretical aspects of the assortment policy (the definition of the identified tasks, describes the factors influencing the formation of the range). Conducted market review of premium men's clothing. The existing methods of analysis product portfolio (BCG matrix, analysis by the method of Dibb-Simkin, ABC and XYZ analysis). The BCG matrix divided the products into 4 groups depending on the growth rate and relative market share. On the basis of the contribution to cover the cost and volume of sales of each product in the analysis by the method of Dibb-Simkin. An ABC analysis of the year with the construction of the Lorenz curve showing inequality in income distribution, and XYZ analysis, seasonal XYZ analysis and XYZ analysis of commodity categories. On the basis of the study and obtained data were allocated to several product groups each of which made recommendations.
