Challenges and Opportunities of Business Diversification in Russia

Taxi market in recent times changed like never before. In recent years, it has come a lot of new players, the market structure has changed fundamentally due to the application aggregators, service prices significantly decreased and demand has grown immediately. However, this growth and led to a significant problems. The purpose of this research is to identify current problems and opportunities of business diversification in Russia, and to form a diversification strategy recommendations for the Gett company in accordance with its capabilities and resource base. To achieve this goal it is necessary to perform the following tasks: • To Consider possible forms of diversification and their distinctive features; • To Consider the strategy of diversified companies; • To Identify potential problems and risks of diversification strategy; • To Identify opportunities produced by as a result of diversification; • To Carry out a qualitative analysis of the external environment of Gett, including macro-and microenvironment; • To Bring the assessment quantitative indicators of the sector in question; • To Analyze the internal environment of the company Gett based on the value chain analysis and analysis of strengths and weaknesses; • To Carry out a qualitative analysis of the possible development of the company Gett strategies and assess the potential diversification strategy; • To Bring the general guidelines for the company's diversification strategy for Gett; • To Analyze the prospects of the related markets and to give recommendations on the diversification strategy in these markets; As a result of analytical research using the tools of strategic analysis of the prospects for the diversification strategy of Gett was confirmed. As part of this research has been carried out both qualitative and quantitative analysis of the company, which resulted in the diversification strategy of the company was formed, taking into account the challenges and opportunities.
