Employment of Graduates and Their Labor Market Behavior

The sphere of human resource management covers a wide range of issues, from recruiting to motivation, which are significant for organizations and supplement of business in a particular company. However, it is affected by several changes in labor market, economics and society, what reflects in sphere`s modernization. Thus, the proposed study considers the employment and job satisfaction as the parts of HRM in case of revealing and revising contemporary distinctions of the object, job satisfaction and labor market behavior features. Job satisfaction is thought to have an impact on changing jobs, absenteeism and effectiveness of work. The object of the study is graduates of Management faculty of NRU HSE, graduated in 2015. Total amount of respondents is 32. The study is aimed to analyze features of labor market behavior of the graduates and features of their job satisfaction. The data needed would be obtained with online questionnaires, statistical methods (with IBM SPSS Statistics) and secondary data analysis (of previous works on similar object and topics). The analysis of job satisfaction, analysis of correlations between job satisfaction and aspects of labor market behavior, revealing of career orientation and grading of realization of preferences have been done. The results reflect correlation between job satisfaction and realization of preferences, several statistically insignificant results, and determination of job satisfaction with labor market activity through regression model. The correlation between job satisfaction and wish of job change is statistically insignificant. Overall, these results provide opportunity to propose several recommendations for employers, students and university; what is more, these results could be a milestone for further studies.
