Adaptation International Strategy of Pharmaceutical Company in Crisis Conditions

This paper is devoted to studying the typology of international strategies, and also to the development of recommendations of strategy adaptation for the pharmaceutical company in the crisis period. The first chapter presents a typology of international strategies and factors of their choice. The second chapter provides an overview of the global pharmaceutical market, its features. Also there is an examination of the role of developing countries in the pharmaceutical industry, and a review of the pharmaceutical market in Russia. In the final, third chapter, there is the analysis of the external environment of the pharmaceutical company Medochemie ltd. and based on results, the recommendations for the adaptation of the international strategy of the company are developed.
