Cross-cultural Peculiarities of Motivating in International Companies

Understanding cross-cultural characteristics of the staff gives managers of companies opening branches all over the world the opportunity to receive the full benefit of their employees, because the motivation depends on the needs that are dictated by cultural characteristics, traditions and mentality. Identifying these needs is a major challenge in the construction process of motivation. The relevance of the study due to the fact that there is a lot of team management techniques with the cultural differences, but a consensus researchers did not come. In this work we were considered the main cultural differences between Russia and Germany. Revealed cross-cultural characteristics of the motivation process in international companies, in the example of the Volkswagen Group. It was carried out a survey of employees of the Volkswagen Group in the branches of Russia and Germany. Based on the data developed recommendations for improving the process of cross-cultural motivation.
