The Practices of Cinema Consumption by the Youth in the Modern Russian Megapolis

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the practices of cinema consumptiom by the urban youth. The spatial framework of the study is limited to St. Petersburg. The study was conducted from September 2014 to May 2016. As a method of research semi-structured leitmotiv interviews were used. The empirical base has included 14 interviews with students of St. Petersburg universities in age from 18 to 23 years.
