Analysis and Improvement of Machine-Building Enterprise’s Production Processes

The current research paper is devoted to studying of one of the most urgent operational management issues – the interconnection of production and production logistics processes considered in the context of machine-building enterprise. The fact that the large machine-building holdings management neglects the integration of aforementioned processes which may lead to manufacturing losses and decrease in efficiency of overall operational performance is of great importance to the study as it forms its main issue. In this paper the main problems, impeding the production operations and production logistics integration, are revealed and systematized, considering the example of the product “X” assembly process. As a result the degree of their interrelation is determined, and the action program aimed at production improvement and efficiency increase is developed.
