Elaboration of the Programme of Business Trainer’s Competences Development

Rapidly changing conditions of the modern economic environment make businesses constantly evolve and learn. Mostly this requirement refers to staff of an organization, since it is the staff that is the key competitive advantage for any company. Business training as a tool of transferring new knowledge and skills, gains more and more popularity in the context of contemporary practice oriented teaching. At the same time, there is no clear opinion regarding the factors that have the greatest impact on the efficiency of business trainings. The outcomes of the conducted business trainings’ observations identified key determinants of the efficiency and success of business training, among which the greatest significance has a business trainer and his competence. The survey and in-depth interviews with practicing trainers confirmed the importance of selected business trainer’s competences. Based on the data obtained the programme of business trainer’s competences development has been elaborated. The programme aims at both enhancing practicing trainers’ business operations and increasing their effectiveness.
